We had such a wonderful experience! Our host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and explained everything about preparing mate so clearly. What made it really special was that it felt like a genuine, authentic experience rather than just a demonstration. We ended up chatting about all sorts of things, from football to everyday life, and it felt like spending time with a local. Warm, relaxed, personal, and truly memorable. We absolutely recommend it! I only started drinking mate regularly for the past five months but wanted to upgrade my gourds. Thankfully, I found materba and absolutely love the gourds I ordered. Took a minute to cure them each but they're both beautiful and well crafted. I am a sucker for blue and couldn't find many companies that had blue gourds let alone personalize them so Materba was clutch. Even my coworkers who are unfamiliar with mate commend the craftmanship. Thank you Materba, I'll be ordering more for sure! Show More

Such an amazing cultural experience! Thomas explained everything patiently and passionately. Now I know better what mate is and I'd love to share the knowledge and yerba mate with my friends too. All the mate and bombilla are beautiful and well-made. Highly recommend trying the experience and learn the culture :) Show More

I had an amazing experience here with Facu where him and his mum taught me everything there is to know about appreciating Yerba Mate. They have a great selection of Mate Cups and Bombilla as well if you choose to get a set for yourself to bring home! Show More
